If the prescription contains a controlled hormone drug, e.g. Testosterone, then the first order must be within 28 days of the prescription date.  This then activates the prescription, and any repeats can be ordered within one year of the prescription date.

For normal prescriptions an order must be made within 180 days of the prescription date.  Any repeats must be ordered within one year of the prescription date.

If the prescription is still valid but our pharmacists can see that you have had a recent medical review and have been given a new prescription, this voids the old prescription and any repeats.
